Fans moment of silence and sing O’ Canada at Winnipeg Jets game

With the events that transpired this week some fans in the crowd are wearing red to show their support for Canada and specifically for those impacted by the tragedy in Ottawa.

Prior to the singing of the Canadian national anthem there was a moment of silence for Cpl. Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent who were killed this week.  Then Stacey Natrass who usually sings the anthem allowed the crowd to sing it instead.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
