To kick-off the day, the Jets and CBC will host The Family FanZone at the Forks which will get underway at noon. This family-friendly, alcohol-free celebration, which runs until 8:00pm, will feature musical entertainment, contests and giveaways and of course, CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada broadcast of the Winnipeg Jets season-opener. 12:20PM to 12:50PM -Keith & Renee perform on Scotiabank Stage
1:05PM to 1:40PM – Quinzy performs on Scotiabank Stage
2:00PM – Jets representative speech
2:10PM to 2:35PM – Doc Walker performs on Scotiabank Stage
2:50PM to 3:15PM – “Fuelled by Passion” – Jets document will be aired on screens
3:20PM to 4:00PM – Pre-game & Live CBC Game Broadcast will be aired on screens
4:00PM to 7:00PM – Hockey Night in Canada Inaugural Game Broadcast – Jets vs. Canadiens
Fans who are not attending the game can also spend the day at the Convention Centre for pre and post-game activities. There will be a viewing party from 2:30pm – 7:00pm followed by The Official Winnipeg Jets Inaugural Game After Burner Social.
Tickets for the Convention Centre are $35.00 (plus fees) at Ticketmaster.
