To kick-off the day, the Jets and CBC will host The Family FanZone at the Forks which will get underway at noon. This family-friendly, alcohol-free celebration, which runs until 8:00pm, will feature musical entertainment, contests and giveaways and of course, CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada broadcast of the Winnipeg Jets season-opener. Fans who are not attending the game can also spend the day at the Convention Centre for pre and post-game activities. There will be a viewing party from 2:30pm – 7:00pm followed by The Official Winnipeg Jets Inaugural Game After Burner Social.
