Evening Round-up

News from the hockey world this Tuesday evening:

• The Falconer examines the possibility of the Thrashers trading Ilya Kovalcuk, Kari Lehtonen and Mathieu Schneider before this season’s trade deadline.  A full rebuild is in order in Georgia.
• Penguins defenseman Hal Gill is going to miss 2-4 weeks with a shoulder injury.  The Pens defense just can’t stay healthy, but with Crosby and Malkin lighting the league on fire, it is hard to notice.
• Here is an interview with Alexander Semin about his injury status.  Patience is a virtue.
• Robin Brownlee says Sheldon Souray doesn’t look so bad now does he Oilers fans? He’s been great this year.
• Apparently the Canadiens are on Sundin’s secondary list of preferred destinations.  They don’t really need him.
• Barry Melrose goes off.  Took him long enough.
