Euro Curve takes a look at the latest international hockey headlines.
– According to website http://www.sport1.ch/, Former St.Louis Blues Forward Peter Sejna has signed with ZSK Lions of the Swiss NLA. The 28-year-old Slovakian native played 22 games for the Blues last year scoring 3 goals and 1 assist. He has spent the past four seasons in the Blues farm system, with the Worcester Ice Cats and the Peoria Rivermen, regularly putting up good offensive statistics. Sejna is a former Hobey Baker award winner, given to the oustanding player in American College Hockey. He scored 36 goals and 46 assists in 2002’03 as a senior with Colorado College. Expect to see Sejna back in the NHL really soon. He has been a point-per-game player with Peoria of the AHL and will garner interest from an NHL team in the near future.
