Ottawa product Greg Meireles just completed his second full season in the AHL with the Manitoba Moose. He was voted rookie of the year for the club last year putting up 27 points in 49 games. This year wasn’t quite as productive for him as he had 19 points (5G 14A) in 62 games while dealing with an injury that hampered him during 2022-23 campaign. He did play five playoff games scoring once and adding two assists.
