End of Manitoba Moose 2022-23 Season media availability with Ashton Sautner

A return to his roots for Flin Flon born defenceman Ashton Sautner who completed his first full season with the Moose. He did have some time in the organization when he was with the Canucks during the covid all Canadian season when Vancouver sent some of their players to play in Winnipeg. That year he only played two games for Manitoba before he was recalled to the NHL as part of the taxi squad.

This season he played 68 games for the Moose scoring two goals and adding 10 assists. He spoke about what it meant to return to Manitoba, his takeaways from being in Winnipeg, his own development this season, the approach of the team, consistency of his play and more.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
