It was a disappointing 2023-24 season for Jets 2020 2nd rounder Daniel Torgersson as the big Swedish forward had an opportunity to build on a rookie season last year which saw him score 11 goals along with nine assists in 69 games for Manitoba. Instead he played in fewer games (52) and was only able to score one goal while adding eight assists this season.
