Elliotte Friedman says that Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff will return for next season

It seemed likely that Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff would be returning for his 13th season as the manager of the NHL club of Winnipeg. Earlier today on TSN Darren Dreger said as much when he told James Duthie that he didn’t anticipate any major changes to the Jets front office or coaching staff.

In the 2nd period of the Leafs/Lightning game 6 during a quick 32 Thoughts segment Elliotte Friedman spoke about today’s emotional end of season media availabilities and added:

“Expectation is there is no doubt he is returning as the Jets general manager.”

So that answers that question.

Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff is set to speak tomorrow at 12 noon and we will have it all covered.
