Dupuis was acquired from Atlanta in the Marian Hossa deal Feb. 26, and became a valuable and versatile member of the Penguins’ supporting cast.

The salary Dupuis has received is very reasonable. Dupuis is a very good defensive forward and penalty killer, who is also a positive force in the dressing room. His offensive abilities are extremely limited, but there is definitely room for him on an offensively loaded Pittsburgh squad.
