Doug Weight signs with Islanders

Point Blank has learned that the Islanders have signed veteran center Doug Weight to a one-year deal.

This signing is not a surprise, as it has been rumored for a couple of days. The Isles are hoping that Weight can bring good leadership and a positive attitude to a young Islanders squad.
