Department of Player Safety hands Winnipeg Jets Neal Pionk two-game suspension

The news broke this morning that the Department of Player Safety was holding a phone hearing for Neal Pionk today after his hit on the Leafs Rasmus Sandin last night.  They gave him a two-game suspension.

Here is the explanation:

With Riley Nash being put on waivers I am of the opinion that Jets 2017 3rd rounder Johnny Kovacevic will be called up if they want to see him in the lineup. If they intend on using Nate Beaulieu on his off side then I could see them recalling calling 2019 1st rounder Ville Heinola instead.
