NHL Player Safety hands out two-game suspension to Adam Lowry

On Sunday the NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Jets forward Adam Lowry would have a hearing for his hit on Calgary Flames defenceman Oliver Kylington at the end of the second period of the Heritage Classic in Regina.

Today NHL Player Safety announced that Lowry would be suspended for two games. Here is the explanation:

The Jets will need to recall someone from the Manitoba Moose to have a 13th forward available for tomorrow night’s road game against the Anaheim Ducks.
