Department of Player Safety hands Mark Scheifele four game suspension for hit on Evans

Earlier this morning we learned that Jets centre Mark Scheifele would have a phone hearing with the Department of Player Safety for his charge on the Habs Jake Evans late in game 1.

The ref tossed Scheifele for the game handing him a five minute major and a game misconduct.

Today the man up the middle for Winnipeg learned that he will sit out for the next four games.
