David Gustafsson’s time in Sweden is done as the Winnipeg Jets prospect to return to Manitoba

Looks like Jets 2018 2nd rounder David Gustafsson time in his hometown is done as his team Tingsryd announced he has been recalled by the Winnipeg Jets.  In 16 games he scored seven goals and added 10 assists.

Here is part of the release:

David has been a great asset to us in every way. We are very happy that David has been with us and wish him great luck in the future, says coach and sports director Magnus Bogren.

I spoke to him last week and he was dealing with a minor lower-body injury which his team announced kept him out of his fifth game last night.

As part of my conversation with him we spoke about his first-year pro.
