From Fluto Shinwaza of the Boston Globe:

Dave Lewis, shown the door after only one season in Boston, is looking for employment again.

Lewis, hired by Marc Crawford as an assistant in Los Angeles last summer, will not be returning to the Kings in 2008-09.

Read the short post from Bruins Blog here.

Lewis is probably best off as an assistant coach on a veteran team.  While Shinwaza wonders whether he will have difficulty finding his next job, I personally don’t see him having too much trouble finding a good assistant job in the future.  His experience should make him a valuable asset on the assistant coaching market.
