Frank says that there is some evidence this morning that the Habs have re-engaged. He says he believes the other teams that have been in the mix are “Ottawa Senators, Detroit Red Wings and the Columbus Blue Jackets”.  He then qualified the CBJ comment by saying “doesn’t make sense to go back down that path. I think there’s been some intrigue there of just the idea of that player and the fit.”.

Said he thinks Pierre-Luc Dubois is the type of guy who wants to “call his shot”. Went on to say that that is obviously Montreal. But added “the problem with that is, that it’s also obvious to Montreal and they don’t necessarily want to go and spend assets to go get a guy that that, ‘hey just sign a one-year deal somewhere and you can come play for us in a year for free’.”
