The Capitals liked the way Fedorov fit into their team late last season and would like to bring the former star back for another season. Whether another team gives Fedorov more money than the Caps is another story. I suspect he will return to Washington for the 2008/09 season, but wouldn’t be shocked if he landed elsewhere.
