From Iain MacIntyre of the Vancouver Sun:

I have long thought, given the constant criticism of Naslund for everything from his play to demeanor to nationality, that it would be better for both he and the Canucks for Naslund to go elsewhere. He could still play, and the Canucks could appear to move towards a new era. But I never counted on them doing nothing, so far, to add players. They don’t have Mats Sundin, or Marian Hossa or Ryan Malone or Kristian Huselius or Sean Avery. And now they don’t have Naslund. For a team trying to “improve,” they’ve just gone backwards another 25 goals.

Read the entire entry from One-Timers here.

The off-season is not yet over, so Canucks fans do have to realize there is still time to improve the roster. I’m sure Mike Gillis is looking to pedal some of his blueliners for scoring up front.
