Nolan Baumgartner has signed a one year, two-way deal with the Vancouver Canucks, according to his agent, Allain Roy.

Baumgartner split last season between the Iowa Stars/Manitoba Moose and has yo-yoed between the AHL and NHL for years now. Baumgartner will get every chance to crack the Canucks top-six D and should be a good mentor for the team’s younger rearguards like Alex Edler.
