Canadian teams make money for the NHL

From Rick Westhead of the Toronto Star:

“A secret NHL report detailing the ticket revenues of its 30 teams reveals what Canadian hockey fans have long suspected and offers a compelling case for putting more teams north of the border.”

Here is the entire article from this morning’s Toronto Star.

The article basically calls for expansion or relocation of a NHL team to Canada. I, for one, am completely in favor of such a proposition. Canadians live and breathe hockey, and this report clearly shows the game is flourishing north of the border. I am sure our Winnipeg readers enjoy the comment from NHLPA head man Paul Kelly that can be found half-way through the article.
