The day the people of Winnipeg have been waiting for since April 28th, 1996.  The NHL is returning to the city of Winnipeg and we here at Illegal Curve are going to be your #1 source for news about the new Winnipeg NHL franchise.  Before we turn the page and look ahead to the new team, it is important to take a final look back at the original NHL team that resided in these parts.

IllegalCurve.com is thrilled to announce that we are transitioning the site to ensure that we become your one stop shop for all the latest news, game day previews, game chats/threads, post game thoughts and in-depth analysis of the Winnipeg NHL franchise. We aim to be your best source for news about the returning NHL franchise, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Our mission statement is to be your home for NHL hockey in Winnipeg, and this is a commitment we take very seriously.
