From the Dallas Stars Blog: (Hat tip to the Puck Daddy)

The Dallas Stars announced today that the left wing Brenden Morrow is out indefinitely with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee that will require surgery. He is expected to miss up to six months. The club also recalled right wing Landon Wilson from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Wow.  With the team’s struggles so far this season, you have to wonder if the Stars will ever get back on track now.  Regardless, Morrow is the team’s captain and arguably its best player.  His presence as a top line winger on that team will be missed badly.  For a squad heading in the wrong direction, things are only getting worse.
