Breaking News: Andrew Ladd DOES NOT sign with Avangard Omsk of KHL

Update:  According to Gary Lawless and Ed Tait of the Winnipeg Free Press Jets captain Andrew Ladd had a change of heart upon learning his wife is pregnant.

According to our good friend over at TSN Radio 1290 Rick Ralph the Jets Captain signed with the KHL’s Avangard Omsk.

Ladd joins his Jets team mate Evander Kane as the only other Canadian player in the KHL.  Avangard Omsk currently sits 9th in the Eastern Conference at 6-5-1.

Not too many Jets left in Winnipeg.

We will have more in the Morning Papers.
