Winnipeg Jets Andrew Ladd ironman streak comes to an end

He played in all 82 games in season 1, 48 games in season 2 and 72 games in season 3 but that streak comes to an end tonight in Dallas as it was confirmed that captain Ladd wouldn’t be suiting up for Winnipeg tonight.  He had suited up for all 202 Jets games since the move from Atlanta*.

So captain Ladd becomes Daddy Ladd (or maybe Lass would be more appropriate) as he and his wife welcome a baby girl to Jets Nation.

*As per Kalen Qually his total ironman streak dates back to January 23, 2011 in a Thrashers game against the Lightning.
