From Jim Gintonio of the Arizona Republic:

It was like old times, seeing defenseman Nick Boynton on the ice and in the Coyotes locker room. Boynton, who was traded to the Florida Panthers in the off-season along with Keith Ballard, is participating in voluntary workouts with his former teammates and others.

He said although it was a little strange being back among the Coyotes, it wasn’t a big deal.

“I’ve been traded before, so it’s your job,” he said. “You go where you’re told. It’s the business of sports.”

Boynton is a classy player, so his reaction to the trade comes as no surprise.
