From Columbus Dispatch:

The Blue Jackets are closing in on a contract with free agent defenseman Mike Commodore, The Dispatch has learned. An announcement is expected soon.

Sources say it’s a five-year contract. Financial details were not immediately available.

Update: TSN confirms it is done.
