Blog Hits: Slow internet, slow news day – a festivus for the restofus!

Some news and notes from the Blogs today:

  • Nucks Misconduct:  Is Mason Raymond poised for a breakout season?  Canucks have been pretty good developing talent with the Moose.
  • Puck Daddy:  Card Bored: Previewing Upper Deck’s spiffy new set.  We will be continuing the card theme with the second part of the two part series focussing on hockey cards.
  • Stanley Cup of Chowder:  Are the Bruins done dealing?  Not much cap space left.  Wonder what’s going to happen with Kessel.  Where are you Rangers?
  • Eyes on the Prize:  Vintage Habs photos.  If you love classic hockey photos, check this out.
  • Snapshots:  Ken Holland expects the Wings to blaze a trail for years to come.  As I said yesterday, they still have a pretty good core of talent, and despite the fact that all the other teams in the West are going to be gunning for them, they should be able to handle themselves for the next few years.
  • Lowetide:  Springfield Falcons 2009-10.  If you are interested in knowing how the Oilers farm system is doing, read this article.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
