Alyn McCauley takes job with Queen’s University

From The Hockey News:

Alyn McCauley has accepted a new job.

The former NHLer joined the Queen’s University coaching staff on Friday, becoming an assistant coach with the Golden Gaels.

“Joining Queen’s hockey is a chance to learn from a talented coaching staff that has put together a strong and competitive program,” McCauley said in a statement. “I hope to complement them and help guide the team to a new standard.”

Unfortunately injuries led McCauley to an early retirement but McCauley was a smart two-way player who I’m sure will succeed as a coach.
