AHL establishes a Return to Play task force which includes Winnipeg Jets Mark Chipman

While the NHL is working on resuming the 2019-20 season with a play-in and playoffs to begin in July or August the AHL made the decision back on May 5th to cancel the remainder of the season.  With the uncertainty surrounding fans being able to attend large events still very much a reality means that the AHL could be stretched very, very thin next season.

To that end the league has announced that outgoing President and CEO David Andrews will head up the task force along with 12 other hockey executives including chairman and governor of the Winnipeg Jets Mark Chipman.
