- The Sabres have locked up Jason Pominville to a five-year contract extension. (Writer’s note: Terms not yet released but unless they are extremely out of line then this is a very good extension for Buffalo. Pominville is underrated and is going to continue to get better.)
- Five Hole Fanatics suggest that the Flames consider trading Daymond Langkow. (Writer’s note: Creative idea but not going to happen.)
