• The NHL says that playoff attendance and ratings are up. That may be, but has anyone seen the old Iraqi Minister of Information lately? Just sayin’.
  • Fanhouse has a first round referee report.
  • A little of this and a little of that from Lisa Dillman over at Versus.
  • A Scout’s Life looks back on the World Under 18’s. It was a great tourney, hopefully it comes back to North America more often.
  • Crash the Crease does a post-mortem on the Capitals-Rangers series.
  • I missed this one yesterday, but apparently Doug Wilson is conducting an “autopsy” of the Sharks. Its a good thing he has some cool down time, because anger like that can lead to some rash decisions. One wonders if the autopsy will turn up any heart? Ho ho.
  • Taking Note has a great post on the decision to suspend or not suspend, as it applies to junior hockey. Good post here. Having done this kind of thing before, I can tell you its very tough. You often have to rely on grainy video and/or first hand accounts. You can’t always get it right.
