  • Canada improves its Ivan Hlinka record to 2-0, as IC favourite John McFarland tallies twice while Canada doubles the Swiss, 6-3. Lets hope they can keep the momentum up, Team USA also looks good.

  • Sean Burke, Kan Daneyko and Ron Duguay have been added to CBC’s Battle of the Blades. This should be worth watching.
  • Do the Senators need a jersey switch? I love that throw-back look.
  • Taking Note tells us that former Shark Jeff Friesen has signed a tryout deal with Eisbaren Berlin. I always wondered what happened to him. He looked like a world beater in junior.
