Afternoon Delight: PPPMT
- Some young hockey players from Ontario have returned home from Europe after being bilked out of $3000. You have to feel bad for those kids, 3 grand is a lot to shell out.
- Canada improves its Ivan Hlinka record to 2-0, as IC favourite John McFarland tallies twice while Canada doubles the Swiss, 6-3. Lets hope they can keep the momentum up, Team USA also looks good.
- The Hockey Observer has an interesting post about non-North Americans and the Stanley Cup.
- Sean Burke, Kan Daneyko and Ron Duguay have been added to CBC’s Battle of the Blades. This should be worth watching.
- Do the Senators need a jersey switch? I love that throw-back look.
- Taking Note tells us that former Shark Jeff Friesen has signed a tryout deal with Eisbaren Berlin. I always wondered what happened to him. He looked like a world beater in junior.
