Ryan Kennedy at THN thinks the Wild should look to their own back yard come draft day. I tend to agree. The Wild need an infusion of skill and there is plenty of that available in Minnesota right now.
Mike Brophy doesn’t like excitemen….I mean overtime. Fair enough, but I like the current format.
Monika Morivan of Max Hockey thinks hockey fans should cheer for whomever they want, regardless of national pride. I was just preparing an editorial on the same subject, asking what our readers preferred to do.
The Wild have apparently targeted Pat Quinn, John Ferguson Jr and Pierre McGuire, among others, in their search for a new GM. All of these guys are good hockey people who paid their dues, but the Wild need fresh blood and fresh ideas. Their fans are loyal and deserve some exciting hockey.
