  • Brandon, Manitoba will get a chance to host the 2010 Memorial Cup. Brandon should do a good job with this event. They have good volunteers and the town is just the right size.
  • Three coaches from the USHL will coach Team USA at the World Junior A Challenge. Watch for the Americans to send a USHL heavy roster as well.
  • Taking Note gives us the early rankings for the 2009 Draft from both ISS and North American Central Scouting. Interesting to note that Victor Hedman has taken over the top spot in the draft rankings (as predicted by Illegal Curve. Note that one former and one current Prospect Pulse subject are featured in this list (Louis Leblanc and Seth Helgeson).
  • Goon’s World previews this weekend’s Fighting Sioux-MSU Mankato Series. The Sioux really need a couple wins this weekend.
