Afternoon Delight: Hot Under the Collar

  • Eric Duhatschek offers his thoughts on the New York area teams. He always has great stuff.
  • Jason Kay of The Hockey News thinks that it would be beneficial to move the trade deadline to a Sunday. Its an interesting idea, but I think Canadians like calling in sick mid-week!
  • An interesting blog post from Mark Seidel, of the North American Central Scouting Service. Can’t get enough of these behind the scenes stories.
  • Darryl Reaugh with his take on last night’s collapse by the Dallas Stars.
  • Gary Roberts is done. I have mixed feelings on this, being an Oiler fan.
  • Greatest Hockey Legends profiles legendary coach Brian Kilrea.
  • James Mirtle delves a little deeper into the Toronto-Tampa trade.
  • Coming Down the Pipe tells us about Brett Connolly who is, in their opinion, the best 16 year old in the WHL. If thats true, he  has eclipsed some great players.
  • Ever heard of Leafs’ prospect Viktor Stalberg? Me either, until today. There are lots of good players in the NCAA right now, and I think Canadians would enjoy checking out the product.
