Afternoon Delight: Harry Potter Tomorrow!

  • Fans of Road Hockey Rumble will want to know that the series is now available on DVD, here. I have never seen the program,  but am told very good things.
  • The weekly Hot List takes a look at Alex Fallstrom, formerly of Shattuck St. Mary’s. An astute pick by the Wild with Fallstrom. I really liked him from his time with SSM, and I think his development will continue in college.
  • The Report on Business notes that trouble at CIT Group could have an effect on the NHL and its teams, who borrow significant amounts of money from the financial company.
  • Fanhouse muses about the possibility of ever seeing another 100-point defenseman in the NHL. It would take a perfect storm for this to happen in today’s NHL.
  • Puck Update discusses the new coach in New Jersey, and the possibility that Paul McLean and Scott Stevens are being groomed for the job. It seems likely that Mr. Lamiorello would go in-house for the next coach. He likes what he knows.
  • Greatest Hockey Legends has been running an excellent series of posts lately, focusing on brother acts that played in the NHL. I did not know the Richard’s had another, younger brother.
  • Dobber Hockey has Part 1 of 3, exploring the Top 6 vs. Bottom 6 forwards on the Western Conference Teams. Interesting stuff to think about, especially for those people preparing for hockey pools.
