Afternoon Delight: Alberts dealt to Flyers

Bruins defenseman Andrew Alberts has been traded to Philadelphia for Ned Lukacevic and a fourth round pick. With Randy Jones and Ryan Parent out for a significant period of time, the Flyers have addressed their need on defense. Considering the Bruins aren’t exactly loaded on defense, I’m not so sure Alberts will be the answer to their problems.

Chuck Kobasew (ankle) will be out another two and a half weeks. While the team certainly will miss Kobasew, they have a lot of depth at forward and should be fine without him.
