• Teemu Selanne has signed a 2 year, $5.5 million deal with the Anaheim Ducks.  Wow.  Talk about playing for below-market value.  Good on Selanne for taking less money and playing where he’s happy and has a chance to win.  He is going to make $3.25 million this season and $2 million next season.
  • Here are the Blue Jackets’ lines for Monday’s exhibition game versus Chicago.  Again, just an FYI.
  • More teams could start next season in Europe, writes Scott Burnside.  Not surprising, as it seems like each time the NHL goes over to Europe the trip is fairly successful and profitable.
