  • A Confession by John Buccigross. If you need a laugh, this is the place to go.
  • Are Brett Hull’s days as Co-GM numbered? The Avery move may have cooked his goose.
  • An ode to Starter jackets of yore. I only had a Sharks t-shirt, but remember looking on with envy at kids who were rocking these jackets.
  • Mark Spector with an interesting article about what a NHL with a lower salary cap might look like. The idea of reconfiguring buildings is interesting. I think its an excellent way to create demand for a product.
  • Have you ever seen a hockey blogger use a picture of Bananarama and a reflection on high school dances to describe his feelings of optimism about his team? If not, today is your lucky day. If you don’t already, I highly recommend this blog. The pop culture references are great and tie in nicely with the Oilers, if thats your cup of tea.
  • Regina Pats GM Brent P arker discusses the rigourous travel schedule that some major junior players have to endure.
