Afternoon Delight: A Little Bit of Everything

  • Goon’s World talks college hockey realignment. Kind of an interesting topic, and one I know nothing about.
  • Did Kirill Kabanov say that he had contract offers from a number of junior teams? Its not a well kept secret that major junior teams are willing to pay to get the best players.
  • The drinking game of the week, as brought to you by Barry Melrose Rocks. This one sounds a little dangerous.
  • In case you haven’t seen it, check out Mike Ribeiro’s one handed shootout move. Pretty sick move.
  • A few rumours courtesy of Spector. All interesting stuff. I think the Goalie X to the Devils will get the most play in the next little while.
  • Mike Milbury sees nothing wrong with the Burke affair in Anaheim. Maybe or maybe not, but I think the NHL needs to clamp down on this stuff. Makes the league look very backwoods.
  • Two Line Pass takes note of the Capitals hotness as of late. The reemergence of Ovechkin should propel them to 1st in the Southeast, and the supporting cast should keep them there.
