From Terry Frei of the Denver Post:

Tucker is a pest, an agitator, a pain to play against. The phraseology tends to get more colorful than that on the ice or in dressing rooms, but he pulled off the tough feat of largely remaining a fan favorite in Toronto while his tangible contributions diminished and the team struggled. He had his fifth 20-plus goal NHL season in 2006-07 and was rewarded with a new contract, but had 18 goals and 34 points for the Leafs last season in a horrible Toronto team performance that led to a housecleaning.

This was a very well done piece by Frei. With all the money flying around this off-season, Tucker’s contract seems like one of the more reasonable deals that has been struck thus far.
