Marek says Kevin Cheveldayoff indicated contract talks haven’t begun yet with PLD.
Also indicated that he believes that Winnipeg has spoken to Rick Tocchet.
Friedman added that Jim Montgomery (current Blues assistant coach) could be someone to keep eye on if they don’t get Trotz.
