In today’s 32 Thoughts Podcast discussion between Jeff Marek and Elliotte Friedman the two were chatting Bruce Cassidy and Friedman was thereafter discussing the Philly coaching search entering the second phase. From there he went on to discuss the search in Winnipeg and this is what he had to say:
“I think Winnipeg and I want to be very careful how I say this, I think Winnipeg is making contingency plans, as they should, in case Trotz doesn’t end up there. You’ve mentioned Tocchet, you’ve mentioned Arniel, we mentioned Montgomery, I think Pascal Vincent, who they know very well is on their list and I think there might be one or two more. I’d heard that there was some talk, I actually mentioned it awhile ago, that there was some talk that Randy Carlyle was going to get an interview there. I don’t believe that is going to happen. So that’s Winnipeg”
It will be curious to see how Cassidy being on the market impacts TrotzWatch.
