Today on the 32 Thoughts Podcast which was released following the Draft in Montreal insider Elliotte Friedman was going over some things to keep an eye on and mentioned Jets forward Paul Stastny who will be a UFA on July 13th.
“Paul Stastny, likely with a contender. Team that he thinks can win.”
Are the Jets a contender? Jury is still out on that.

Paul Stastny has less than a week to decide if he wants to spend another season in Manitoba or if he is all done after two full seasons and part of a third. Have to think that the noise about Blake Wheeler’s potential move would impact Stastny given how close the two are reported to be.
