Jeff Malott was signed by the Jets a week ago to his first ever NHL contract after an excellent rookie campaign in the pros with the Moose. His first pro season saw him finish with the most goals on the team (14) which tied him for second in the AHL for rookie goal scoring.

We discussed the unique season, his transition to the pro game, playing pro games at the IcePlex, the highlights from his first year as a pro, what he learned about Winnipeg and much more.
