Note:  Rounds 2-7 of the NHL Draft begin today starting at 12 noon CT.  We will be bringing you wall to wall coverage here on the website and on today’s Illegal Curve Hockey Show which will start at Noon CT on TSN 1290 Winnipeg to coincide with the start time in Vancouver.  Throughout the day we will chat with the Jets draft picks as part of our comprehensive coverage which will continue until the end of the draft and we will end our day with a chat with Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff.  For reference we’ve got a handy Jets Draft Primer.

Note II:  The Jets took Finnish left shot defenceman Ville Heinola with the 20th pick last night in Vancouver.  Following the conclusion of the 1st round GM Kevin Cheveldayoff spoke and you can listen to that here.

Note III:  The NHL released the home openers for all 31 teams on Friday afternoon and it meant three Jets games are now revealed with the full season schedule coming out on Tuesday.
