Note:  The Jets are back in action as they finish off the last couple of games before their five-day break.  Tonight they take on division rival Chicago at the United Center.   Morning skate kicks off at 11:30 am and puck drop is at 7:30 pm.  The Winnipeg Jets pre-game report will have you up to date when the players hit the ice. As soon as illegalcurve.com is updated we notify you via Twitter | Facebook | Instagram.

Note II:  The Moose held off ice workouts and did video review on Thursday but today they hit the ice to prepare to face the Iowa Wild in a pair of afternoon games at Bell MTS Place.  Practice starts at 10 am at Bell MTS Place.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Five Keys for Jets vs Blackhawks.  Ken’s big matchup is Blake Wheeler vs Duncan Keith. His keys to the game include: 1) That’s what you call a response. 2) Slump? What slump? 3) Byfuglien heating up. 4) Desperate time. 5) Kane more than able.

Winnipeg Sun:  Perreault’s productive no matter where he goes No question that he is the type of player that simply makes everyone around him better.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Wheeler leading Jets on and off the ice.  Jets d-man Josh Morrissey joined the Big Show as the team was off in Chicago to discuss the upcoming back to back against the Blackhawks and Wild, the team’s play after the Christmas Break without Mark Scheifele and what it was like being next to Blake Wheeler as he learned of his first all-star bid and what the captain means to the team.
