Note:  The Jets are ready to kick off 2018 continuing to play the way they did to close out 2017 (with three straight wins).  They face the Avalanche tonight in Denver.  Morning skate for Winnipeg will kick off at 12:30 pm CST and then puck drop is at 8 pm cst.

Note II:  The Moose are back in action today at Varsity View Sportsplex with an open to the community practice which gets underway at 12 pm.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Five keys to Jets vs Avalanche.  Ken’s big matchup is: Jacob Trouba and Josh Morrissey vs Nathan MacKinnon. His keys to the game include: 1) Motivated masked man. 2) No Little development. 3) More fourth-line magic. 4) Follow the leader. 5) Don’t forget Soderberg.
