Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets close to cap team.  Lots of money being spent in the last little while by the Jets brass.  The question is what sort of impact it have on the team?  Speaking of those RFAs….

Winnipeg Sun:  Kulikov feeling healthy.  Lots of folks from outside the market don’t like the deal but if Buffalo proves to be an exception to the norm and Kulikov can go back to his Panthers form then the Jets should be winners with a solid left side addition.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Kulikov excited about new start with Jets.  (Paywall).  As I said above the defenceman sounded quite confident that he has healed from his injury issue he dealt with as a member of the Sabres and if he’s good to go then that should help out the Jets.

Illegal Curve:  A look at some of the players leaving the Winnipeg Jets & Manitoba Moose.  While the team added players a number of familiar faces will be leaving town.  Post includes contracts, new teams and when they will be facing their old team again.

Jets audio:

Illegal Curve:  Kevin Cheveldayoff’s free agency frenzy scrum.  The Jets general manager spoke for close to twenty minutes on Saturday as he spoke about addressing his team’s need, the goalie situation, the influence of Wheeler/Scheifele and a lot more.

Illegal Curve:  A chat with Kevin Woodley of In Goal Magazine/NHL.com.  We spoke with the goalie expert about the current situation in Winnipeg and what it means for Steve Mason, Connor Hellebuyck and Eric Comrie.
