Note:  How did you enjoy your Canada Day/Free Agency Frenzy?  It was a very busy day for the Jets organization as they added five new faces ( Steve Mason | Dmitry Kulikov | Michael SgarbossaBuddy Robinson | Cameron Schilling).

Jets news:

Illegal Curve:  A look at some of the players leaving the Winnipeg Jets & Manitoba Moose.  While the team added players a number of familiar faces will be leaving town.  Post includes contracts, new teams and when they will be facing their old team again.

NHL.com:  Mason hoping to help the Jets take the next step.  Fans will be happy with the ‘win now’ and ‘playoff’ talk that they are hearing from this organization.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets touch all bases in free agency.  Ken brings you up to speed on everything that happened with the home team.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets get goalie and D-man early in free agency.  This team had some very specific needs and addressed them right away.

The Hockey News:  Jets spend big to land Kulikov, and deal has serious boom-or-bust potential.  Lots of chortling about this signing after the season he had in Buffalo last year.  Will he be able to prove the doubters wrong?  We shall find out.
